Juanita Beach Park

Today we decided to venture out to Juanita Beach Park in Kirkland to test out my son’s new sand toys. We just got a new set from Costco for $17.99, expecting many uses this summer!

This wasn’t a particularly nice day to visit the beach as it was cloudy and rather cold. This “spring” in Seattle has been quite cold and we are still in 40-50F.

Parking is free, up to 4 hours. This park was newly renovated, hence the clean look of the restrooms and the patio area. The "sand" area was rather small and sweet, but perfect for the kiddo to play. They also have a nice deck that juts out to the water. That'd be a nice walk, we just couldn't get to do it due to the cold. The playground is an all-abilities playground, so there's more point for that. We hope to visit again on a sunnier day.
